  2. Registration: In order to make purchases through our website, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
  3. Product Information: We strive to provide accurate descriptions and images of our products, but we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content on our website are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
  4. Pricing and Payment: All prices displayed on our website are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are subject to change without notice. Payment for products purchased through our website must be made through the provided payment methods. We reserve the right to refuse any order placed through our website.
  5. Special Order / Backorder: Special order items / backorder items require a 25% deposit before we place an order for an item due to it being an uncommon part. The items usually take about 2-3 working days to arrive at our offices. *Subject to supplier availability & stock is not always guaranteed.   6. Non-Oem Aftermarket Policy: We aim to offer our customers the broadest selection of automotive parts and accessories, all at highly competitive prices. The majority of our merchandise consists of Aftermarket components, often referred to as Non-Original Equipment Manufacturer (Non-OEM) parts.Consequently, the original vehicle manufacturer does not produce these items and components. Nevertheless, they are meticulously crafted to adhere to the most stringent industry benchmarks and adhere to rigorous global quality certifications.Unless explicitly specified, all of our offerings fall into the category of aftermarket Non-OEM products. We recommend consulting your vehicle dealership to determine any potential impact on your warranty or service arrangement.
  7. Shipping and Delivery: We aim to process and ship orders promptly, but we cannot guarantee specific delivery times. Shipping costs and delivery estimates will be provided during the checkout process.   9. Storage of Uncollected Orders

    9.1. Customers are required to collect their orders within sixty (60) calendar days from the date on which they are notified that their order is ready for collection, unless otherwise agreed to in writing by Spares Direct SA.

    9.2. Any order that remains uncollected after the initial sixty (60) day period will incur a storage fee of R15.00 (Fifteen Rand) per day, calculated from the sixty-first (61st) day until the order is collected.

    9.3. The storage fee shall be payable in full before the order is released to the customer.

    9.4. If the accumulated storage fees equal or exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the goods, Spares Direct SA shall be entitled, without further liability, to treat the goods as abandoned. In such circumstances, Spares Direct SA may sell, dispose of, or otherwise deal with the goods in its sole discretion to recover storage and associated costs.

    9.5. Where goods are treated as abandoned in terms of clause 16.4, the customer shall forfeit any right to the goods and shall not be entitled to any refund, credit, or compensation in respect of the amount paid for the goods.

    9.6. Spares Direct SA will make reasonable efforts to contact the customer using the contact details provided before exercising its rights under this clause. It remains the customer’s responsibility to ensure that their contact information is accurate and up to date.

  10. Intellectual Property: All content included on our website, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of Spares Direct SA or its content suppliers and is protected by South African and international copyright laws.
  11. Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Spares Direct SA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use our website or services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on our website; (c) any content obtained from our website; or (d) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.

Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Spares Direct SA and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and third-party service providers from and against all claims, liabilities, losses, expenses, damages, and costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, resulting from any violation of these terms and conditions or any activity related to your account (including negligent or wrongful conduct) by you or any other person accessing our website using your account.
  13. Modification of Terms: We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our website following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
  14. Inadvertent and Obvious Errors: Spares Direct SA strives to ensure that all information provided on our website is accurate and up to date. However, in the event of an inadvertent and obvious error in the pricing, product or service description, images, shipping calculations, or any other relevant content, Spares Direct SA reserves the right not to fulfill the order for the affected product or service. Such errors may arise from technical or system issues.In such cases, Spares Direct SA will make every effort to contact you promptly to inform you of the error. You will have the option to cancel the purchase, and a full refund will be issued for any amount paid.
  15. Shipping Miscalculations: If an error occurs in the shipping calculations on our website, you will be contacted prior to delivery. To proceed with the shipment, any outstanding amount due must be settled.
  16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of South Africa.

  17. Promo Codes and Promotional Discounts

    17.1. From time to time, Spares Direct SA may issue promotional codes (“Promo Codes”) which entitle customers to discounts or other promotional benefits.

    17.2. Promo Codes are valid only for the promotional period specified and are subject to any terms communicated with the promotion.

    17.3. Unless expressly stated otherwise:

    • Only one (1) Promo Code may be used per order.
    • Promo Codes cannot be combined with any other promotion, discount, special offer, trade pricing, wholesale pricing, or coupon.
    • Promo Codes are not transferable, refundable, redeemable for cash, or exchangeable for credit.

    17.4. Promo Codes must be applied during the checkout process before payment is completed. Promo Codes cannot be applied retrospectively to completed orders.

    17.5. Promo Codes may exclude certain products, brands, categories, shipping charges, special-order items, or clearance products at the sole discretion of Spares Direct SA.

    17.6. Spares Direct SA reserves the right to refuse, cancel, suspend, or revoke any Promo Code where:

    • the Promo Code has expired;
    • it is used contrary to its promotional terms;
    • fraudulent, suspicious, or abusive activity is detected;
    • a system, pricing, or technical error has occurred; or
    • the Promo Code was published or obtained without authorization.

    17.7. If an order placed using a Promo Code is cancelled, refunded, or returned, the value of the Promo Code will not be refunded or reissued unless required by applicable law.

    17.8. Spares Direct SA reserves the right to amend, withdraw, or terminate any promotion or Promo Code at any time without prior notice, provided that such amendment shall not affect orders that have already been accepted and processed.

    • Coupon abuse
    • Stacked discounts
    • Retroactive discount requests
    • Leaked influencer or staff codes
    • Pricing/system errors
    • Refund abuse
